Welcome to Big Ink Bash, a celebration of tattoo art, creativity, and community.
By purchasing a ticket, booking a space, or taking part in any way, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Please read them carefully before attending.

EVENT DETAILS

  • Event: Big Ink Bash – Carnival of Chaos

  • Dates: 20th–21st June 2026

  • Venue: Hooton Lodge Farm Rotherham S65 4TE

  • Organised by: Big Ink Bash

Bookings, Deposits & Payments

  • All bookings are confirmed once your deposit is received.

  • Deposits are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Big Ink Bash.

  • Remaining balances must be paid by the 1st April 2026

  • Spaces not fully paid by that date may be released without refund.

  • Each artist or trader space includes one helper wristband — extras can be purchased on the day.​

Refunds & Cancellations

  • Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Refunds are only given if the event itself is cancelled.

  • If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible — we’ll do our best to help where we can.

Health, Safety & Licensing

  • All tattoo artists must hold valid local authority registration and follow all hygiene laws.

  • Temporary event registration with Rotherham Council. More information will be added soon.

  • Work areas must be clean, professional, and fully equipped.

  • One sink per 10 artists will be provided.

  • Artists must use sharps bins and clinical waste systems correctly.

  • Only safe, approved products, inks, and equipment may be used.​

Set-Up & Pack-Down

  • Setup: Friday 12pm–6pm / Saturday 8am–9am

  • Tattooing Hours: Sat 10am–7pm / Sun 10am–5pm

  • Breakdown: Sunday from 6pm

  • Please keep within your allocated space and follow any staff directions.

  • Your area must be left clean and free of waste.​

Behaviour & Conduct

  • Big Ink Bash is a respectful, family-friendly event.

  • Aggressive, unsafe, or disrespectful behaviour won’t be tolerated.

  • Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.

  • Alcohol may only be consumed in licensed areas.

  • Anyone causing disruption may be asked to leave without refund.​

Accommodation

  • Hellaby Hall Hotel (~3.3 mi) – Country hotel with spa.

  • Premier Inn Rotherham East (~3.4 mi) – Budget & reliable.

  • Best Western Plus Pastures (~3.3 mi) – Great food, close by.

  • Premier Inn Barnsley (~5.3 mi).

  • Mercure Sheffield Parkway (~6.4 mi).

  • Travelodge Meadowhall (~6.5 mi).

  • Please respect the venue’s facilities and quiet hours.​

Photography & Filming

  • Official photography and filming will take place throughout the event.

  • By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional use by Big Ink Bash (including social media, website, and marketing).

  • If you prefer not to appear in media, please inform staff or the organisers during the event.​

Competitions

  • Tattoos entered must be started and completed during the event.

  • Tattooing Hours: Sat 10am–7pm / Sun 10am–5pm

  • Saturday:
        • Small Colour
        • Small Black & Grey
        • Blackwork
        • Traditional
        • Small Carnival Chaos
        • Best Booth

  • Sunday:
        • Large Colour
        • Large Black & Grey
        • Neotraditional
        • Japanese
        • Best Apprentice
        • Large Carnival Chaos

    All tattoos must be started & completed at the show. Prep & stencils can be applied before start time.
     

  • Judging: Sat 5:30pm / Sun 5:30pm.

  • Judging is independent and final.

  • Artists are responsible for ensuring clients are 18+ and have given proper consent​

Liability & Insurance​

  • Big Ink Bash accepts no responsibility for injury, loss, theft, or damage to persons or property.

  • Attendance and participation are at your own risk.

  • Please take care around equipment, electrical setups, and stage areas.​

Weather & Event Changes

  • The event will continue in all reasonable weather conditions.

  • This is an outdoor event, be prepared!

  • If extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances make it unsafe to proceed, Big Ink Bash may reschedule or cancel the event.

  • Any important updates will be shared via email and official social media channels.​
